Rift rules before you enter
| Rule | Pinned game version |
|---|---|
| Spawn checks | After 75 seconds, a 30-second check countdown runs in eligible world play. |
| Chance per eligible miss | 20%, then 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%; a successful roll resets the sequence. |
| Blocking conditions | No new portal while a boss is alive, a portal/arena exists, or within two minutes of Judgment. A free spawn position is required. |
| Portal lifetime | 45 seconds; walk into it before it expires. |
| Arena limit | 120 seconds. |
| Victory | Three normal tickets, legendary coin drops, 50% chance of a ×10 ticket, and a bond. |
| Defeat / timeout | Return to the map; a fallen player revives with 30% health. |
Does a rift always appear at 1:15?
No. The check countdown begins only after 75 seconds; the first eligible roll is roughly 30 seconds later. Bosses, existing portals, late-run restrictions and blocked terrain can delay or prevent a portal.
Does killing a normal boss give the same reward?
No. Ordinary bosses use a 1/3 ×10-ticket roll, whereas rift legends use 1/2 and also drop three normal tickets. A normal boss is not a legendary arena.
What happens after winning?
The arena allows five seconds for the victory phase and pulls in pickups, then returns you to the stored map position. A bond choice can follow. Defeat uses a shorter return phase and does not award the victory bond.

Read the ground
Enemy attacks may announce their impact area before firing. Move out of the marked area and preserve an escape lane. Chasing pickups into a crowded corner can remove the room you need to dodge.
Choose when to enter
A rift is a portal encountered in the world. Prepare your active move and health before entering. Legendary arenas are organized by type; your available attacks and control comfort matter more than a raw attack multiplier.
Resolve the arena
You have 120 seconds to defeat the legendary. Victory drops three normal tickets and coins, rolls a 50% chance for a ×10 ticket, and adds a bond. The game pulls in pickups and returns you after a five-second victory phase. Timeout or falling returns you without the victory reward; a fallen partner revives at 30% health. The world enemies are restored and the run continues.
Use victory options carefully
A legendary victory can open a bond choice. Read the slot combination carefully, because a bond changes which moves fire from the active slot. The planner intentionally stops short of simulating this expanded state.
Common mistakes & limits
- Do not confuse a scheduled boss with a random portal.
- A high-stat partner does not remove the need to dodge.
- These positioning notes are source-based advice, not recorded clear-time benchmarks.
